I paid $3700 for a 07 super clean, 7k on the clock, and two brothers.
The S2 was a deal breaker foe me. The S2 is a better bike. The S2 is the BEST 600cc ever.
It's early. Take your time, and you'll be glad you did.
I'd hold out for an S2 for $3500 if it were me. If you came to me with cash in hand, and I had a bike just sitting in the winter weather, I'd take the cash all day long.
Get an S2, it's the best 600cc ever.
Even better if you find the faster red color.:cheer:
:welcome: from Texas:cheer:
$3500 will get you a nice S2 07, 08 with low miles in Texas.
Good luck and take your time. A good deal will fall in your lap. Have cash in hand. Money talks.
Going to take my time(broken arm), and find a nice CB550 for the build. My goal is a bike like the photos. I have a guy that will do the hard tuff, and I'll take care of the small task.
I've sat on them , and it's a very comfortable bike. Not sure about vibration but I think it's a bike that you can easily ride across country.

I have to get the café bug out of my system before I get any other bike. Then the...
Every thing I read on the cx says it's a tank, and the bike with the shaft will last forever with very little work.
Can you tell me more of what to look out for on the cx?
The CB550 is on the top of the list for now.
I'm looking for a café build. Any of you guys have input on these bikes? Did you own one back in the day?
I like the class look of the cb550, but I like the v-twin shaft build like a tank of th cx500.
