Looking to buy 2007 and newer forks (black). Must be straight. I would purchase the left side separately if you happen to have just one. Thanks!

I wouldn't worry about the battery unless you have any kind of parasitic draw on it (like an alarm). Honestly, the bike will be completely fine on a commute like that, you'll just want to change your oil based on time, not mileage.
Personally, I always end up taking the "long way" after a day...
Re: Amazing win by Rossi in Argentina
Did we need to give away the race in the thread title!?!? Some of us work weekends and have to rely on DVR!:spank:

I believe tire pressure should be changed to suit riding environment. Generally speaking, dropping pressures for aggressive riding and raising them for hwy/commuting.
My guess is Pirelli suggests their pressures for the hwy/commuting crowd as that is what the majority will do on an FZ6...
you can use 10w-30 or 10w-40. I personally use Amsoil 10w-40 year round. Switching to synthetic is as simple as draining (replacing filter) and refilling. Might take an additonal oil change or two to get all the dino oil out of there.
on a side note, I should really go on the forum more...
Might want to list build date (Bell's have a sticker on the outside back of the helmet as well as inside).
I only use Bells. They are AWESOME and come with a 5 year warranty! GLWS
I use the same grips. Install is easy and they work great. They have a 2 year warranty as well. I had to get the updated heat controller (the one you linked has it) and it was at my door the next day at no cost.
the FZ6 is easily bump-started. Just put it in 2nd gear with the key on, get a...
showing up on both my phone and computer here at work? is it really not working? maybe my IT department is trying to tell me to stop sitting on the forum and get stuff done!
My very first trackday they opened the front straight at lunch for wheelies. I did my first 'official' wheelie there on a brand new bike and wet my pants.
Did it again for another photo op on a wheelie hill
Haven't gotten any good wheelie pics in the past 6 years or so but as long as...
This was in Lowell, next to the bike night location. There was a thread on the NESR forum where I found out. There's also a listing on yamaha's site: Yamaha Outdoors Events
I rode the FJR ES with the electronic suspension. While looking quite large parked next to the other bikes at the event (with the saddlebags on), I didn't feel any additional heft while underway. I was very impressed with the power and handling and while the ride was short, i was able to quickly...
Well I did the FZ-09 and the FJR. Not sure there's much I can say that hasn't been said about either bike, but I can definitely see myself on a FJR...

ICE CREAM!
Just found out the Yamaha truck is next to my work. I signed up for the Fz-09 and can't decide if my other ride should be the fz-07, FJR, or something else. Super tenere is booked too late so that is not an option for me although I wish it was.
Glad I came to work today!
