Legal if any loudish aftermarket exhausts UK

Hi all members, owned a couple of bikes with loud exhausts and when MOT due took 30 minutes to change'
Am aware my underseat exhausts would be a pain to change at MOT time,Wondering are there any better sounding aftermarket silencers that
are UK MOT legal so need only fitting once.

Hi Howard,

I use this in Spain, our local regulations allow aftermarket silencers but you must have a "plastic card" coming from the factory showing the European homologation on it. Several MOT passed with no problems as I didn't change nothing from inside/outside:


Comercial name: Mivv Oval Carbon (2 pieces substituing the stock silencers), you maintain the stock catalyst and Lambda sensor.

Wish it was similar here,ive phoned a local dealer and though he does MOTs had very little info for me,
perhaps ill focus on getting a new helmet and jacket for now.
