Going from the Yamaha FZ6 Fazer to Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT

The stock one fits me pretty well, I'm just saying it could improve a little more the confort.

Going from the Yamaha FZ6 Fazer to Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT

Well... mine does have ABS, so the only thing would be the confort, but even that can be solved with a better seat and windshield.

Going from the Yamaha FZ6 Fazer to Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT

And here I am... in the same position where I started this thread. xD Didn't do anything I has programmed, just having the same Fazer with no more luggage space, eheh, but with 21.000 km on it. I had a child, moved next to my job, and I can really just go and walk to it, no need to ride the...

ABS problem or need brake pads???

Got the call form my Yamaha mechanic, as I was wondering, the battery was a little weak, and after the ride I took it's all working fine. Must ride it more times, or get a battery optimizer. "V"

ABS problem or need brake pads???

Happened to me today, after having the bike sitting for some time (it's from 2014 with original battery, with 20k on), the ABS light started to blink, so I thought that it could be the battery, will check it soon, maybe next weekend. I really don't care if the ABS isn't working, but I don't...

Let's go see Citânia de Sanfins (Portugal)

This weekend we went to visit Citânia de Sanfins, one of the most important cities of the past, it was built around century 1 BCE. The place is very cool, with very old artifacts and buildings. You can read the story here... althought it is in portuguese, I think you can translate it...

Going from the Yamaha FZ6 Fazer to Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT

Well... a friend of mine solved my problem!! In the forum Motos & Destinos He told me SW-MOTECH has these ultra cool things, that you can install or remove whenever you want, it can be used with many types of side cases. So I'm going to buy these adapters: SW-MOTECH EVO side carriers The...

Going from the Yamaha FZ6 Fazer to Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT

The FZ6 Fazer is one of the best motorcycles out there, no doubt. Regarding the Tracer, the base model costs 10.495,00 €, add up taxes and side cases to the price. The V-Strom costs 8.699,00 €, plus they offer equipment in the value of 776,00 €. Top case, side stickers, skid plate, hand...

First Accident... 6 months after picking it up

I was involved in a crash in 2015... had bought the Fazer in September and in February the crash happened, the motorcycle was around 2.000km only. But we are all here to tell the story, that's what it counts. ;) "V"

Going from the Yamaha FZ6 Fazer to Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT

First of all... sorry if this is the wrong place to post this thread. I would like to know you guys opinion on this subject: 1 - My first motorcycle, in the year 2008, was the Yamaha Thundercat (2000); 2 - After almost 50.000km on it, I switched for the brand new Honda Deauville (2011)...

Dumb question: does my 2011 FZ6 S2 have ABS?

Just like that, if your front and rear disk look just like that, you have ABS. Mine is a 2014 Yamaha FZ6 Fazer S2 ABS, bought it brand new in 2014. "V"
