    Tips for shaving/lowering the seat?

Well, as much as I enjoy the FZ6, I ended up with a newer FZ1. Easier to ride 2-up with wifey and a bit of a nicer bike overall. Around the same time a friend had expressed interest in learning to ride... And we've arrived at a point where the FZ6 is basically hers (she's saving up the cash)...

Need a cosmetically perfect '04-'08 fuel tank. Trade possible?

I'm trying to be cheap about it, otherwise I would have bought a new tank in primer and just had it painted. I've been watching eBay for a year and haven't seen anything worth jumping on. I'm looking for a cosmetically perfect fuel tank for my '04 FZ6. I'm willing to pay a fair price for a...

    Would you rather... 2004 FZ6 vs. 2006 SV1000s

So, I have the chance to acquire my friend's 2006 SV1000s for a song. It currently has about 6,000 miles on it and has always been garage kept and barely ridden. To sum up the circumstances, he moved away and left the bike in my garage for me to either sell for him or buy from him. I would...

    FREE: FZ1 bars, used

Gone! FREE: FZ1 bars, used I wasn't a big fan of them, they weren't quite right for me personally so I went with the FZ6R bars - perfect. I don't have any pics besides this one to show the bars, but they're free as long as you pay shipping. I haven't gotten any quotes yet, so include your...

Free: rear frame assembly W/O rear footpegs

I have an additional rear frame assembly I'd like to get rid of. This was on my bike when I bought it, and does not have passenger footpegs. The entire footpeg mount was removed and ground smooth, then painted black by the bike's original owner. It looks very sleek, especially with the rear seat...

    Fuel tank dent - Repairable?

What do you gents think? Is this fixable? I've seen basketballs inflated inside pop dents out or even the ice trick on a hot day... but I fear this may be too far gone... It's about a year old if that matters. I have hope for this one though... the cheapo suction cup might even work...

    New Member from Connecticut

Hello everybody! Newbie from CT here! I've been on and off bikes for a few years, spent a lot of time off and last summer decided to jump back in. Started out with a Ninja 650 - great bike to get my confidence back, but not exactly a ton of fun. Friend was selling his low miles 2004 Fazer and...
