    I know this thread is old but I recently moved to Orlando, not far from UCF area. Hit me up if you're still riding.

    ~~~ What did you do to your Bike Today Thread??? ~~~
    Thanks! The main blue wrap is Chromatic Vinyl Films M700 series matte deep blue, and some small parts like the headlight shroud are wrapped in 3M M12 Matte Black. I found the 3M to be a little more difficult to work with because it wasn't as elastic as the Chromatic wrap.
    ~~~ What did you do to your Bike Today Thread??? ~~~

    Finished a matte blue vinyl wrap on the FZ this past weekend, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! To the curious: wrapping a motorcycle is a total nightmare and I'll never attempt it again. Too many curves and complex angles (imagine trying to giftwrap a basketball with no creases or...

    How much did you $spend on your fz6? $7200

    2008 with 16k on the odo, bought it crashed for $1200. I bondo'd the fairing and replaced/painted/fixed/upgraded things for another $400. Then replaced chain, sprockets, all turn signals, added heated grips, fuel controller, racetech gold valves, and this thing is sweet!

    Getting used to the throttle on the FZ6

    No, the bike was due for it. The PO crashed the bike and left it outside during an Ohio winter so the chain was done. Mine's a 08 with about 20k on it now. And yeah, for the price of the PCFC I wouldn't blame you. It didn't help as much as I'd hoped, but hey at least now I have a fuel controller...

    Getting used to the throttle on the FZ6

    I just picked up my FZ6 in May and have the same issue. This has been discussed quite a bit around here (I was lurking for a while to get the bike set up properly), and there's a few theories. It's correct that if your chain isn't set properly you can have issues, and make sure your throttle...

    New member welcome thread..

    Hi all, I recently picked up a slightly wrecked 2008 FZ6 for cheap and have slowly been bringing it back to life. So far I have new fairings, new chain, rebuilt forks, new steering head bearings, new front wheel (last one was bent in the crash), and a myriad of maintenance items that I've found...
