The garage is getting crowded, but shoot, I nice light middleweight with no mileage on it and fuel injection will come in handy at some point. This weekend I'm doing a dirt ride, but I'll get the Yamaha out at some point :)
I just bought a CRF450L and am considering selling my FZ. I am into it for $3,550 and will sell for break even if someone here want it. Ad is here: https://sacramento.craigslist.org/mcy/d/sacramento-2007-yamaha-fz6/7391218872.html
Thank you. Brake fluid looks yellow, not black so I'm not too worried... It'll get done, just not on the hot list. Nothing is leaking, the old is freshly changed, I think I really got a cream puff here :)
I've only been here 5 minutes and I'm already quoting myself LOL.... If I fall in love it will only be a matter of time until is has Ohlins front and rear :)
Hey Gary,
Thanks for following up. I suppose I should have provided a little more information. I have about 5 years of experience roadracing, and spent a few years after that instructing at track days, and I am, in fact, quite picky about suspension settings. In my mind this bike is a great...
Thanks Gary. Gonna ride it the way it is a little, probably do tires then think about changing the fork oil. I mean, its 14 years old and all wrong anyway... I weigh about 190, steer the bike quickly... what oil and height/cc would you recommend? Thank you.
Hello there,
My name is Chris and I just bought a 2007 FZ6 with just 2000 miles on it! Its super low miles, so there's not much to say about it... I'm glad there is a community here to network with, maybe ride with, and learn from.
I'm in Sacramento... hope to see you on a ride!
