Long time no speak, but here I am with a FZ6 question. I'm finally selling my FZ6 (yup I just couldn't part with it). My question is has anyone a photo or picture of how the cables and plugs neatly sit around the battery. The battery has been out of the bike for a couple of years and now I come...
They will be releasing the new Tracer 900 next year, with a few upgrades.

Might be a good opportunity to pick up an older FZ-09 or MT-09 off the shop floor for a reasonable price...
Well we booked a flight and rental car for the spring break next year, we've just got to work out the itinerary. We'll (my wife, 2 daughters and I) be arriving in San Francisco and leaving from LA and we have about 13 days in the US.
The general plan seems to be San Francisco, yosemite park...

Picked up my bike this morning, Tracer 900, unfortunately in the slower blue colour :)
Took the picture near the old Musketeers quarters, here in town.
I'm hoping that someone can help me out, I have just ordered a Tracer with a rack (standaard from the accessories page).
I was wondering if any one had any experience of mounting another plate or using some kind of adaptor to make a (FZ6) yamaha top box fit it.
This is the rack I have on the...
Well it wasn't planned I originally went to the bike shop to get a ride on the MT-09, but they had just sold their previous test bike and the new one had to be prepped. Anyway they had a BMW F800R on special offer and they let me take a spin.
Well I was not impressed, mainly as the engine was a...

Paris has started enforcing new emission zones, the FZ6 S2 is still OK with its Euro 3 standard  (BTW the S1 is still fine with its Euro 2 standard )
In Austria there have been some new (oval) road markings appearing, these are supposed to stop bike riders hugging the centre lines in the bends, which apparantly is a cause for many accidents in Austria.
Here's the (German) story.

Well me and 3 friends of mine got thinking and we all thought it would be great to plan a 4 day trip to Normandy (From North Holland). It will be 1 day ride to get there (with a break and/or a bit of minor road riding), 2days riding around the area and then the trip home (also with a stop off...

On Friday I had riden to my work and back, had a bite to eat and then I was going on a ride with a group of riders (well actually I had organised it). Anyway on my way to the start location my bike just seemed to die, it lost a lot of power, the engine warning light came on and when I let it...
