2009 Durban Toy Run

The 2009 Durban toy run got of to a slow start today, the weather gods were out in full force, so many of the fair weather riders didn’t arrive. All in all there was about 2000 bikes and we had a good ride. A pile of toys were collected and I'm sure there will be many happy faces over Christmas...

In contrast, the weather in Johannesburg was fabulous, maybe a little windy but hot and sunny. I have the first sunburn of the summer

Damn, i'm SO pleased we didn't have rain. What we DID have was a lot of bikes. Basically every highway in Jo'burg was packed with bikes. Every shape and size of motorcycle, some even really really old, they all came out.
