Hey hey, this is my first post here!

I bought an Fz6 s2 2009 2 months ago and have had fun so far. It has about 85,000km on the clock.
When I went to get the safety check, the technician had trouble starting the bike after pressing the honk (the ignition was rolling but nothing from the engine). He had to shut it off, turn it back on and start it for the engine to start rolling. He didn't think too much of it since it did start, and I forgot about it.

Yesterday, I was hanging with a group of riders and accidentally hit my honk while my bike was idling (at a safe RPM when warm, around 1250), and it stalled on me. Nothing else happened, just the honk. I shut it off, turn it back on, get the engine rolling, and again, following the honk, the bike stalls.

It seems to be pretty consistent, without any lasting issues. And I think it's kind of funny and unique.
What could be the cause of this issue?

This sounds like a classic corrosion in a connector issue. The horn circuit does travel through the main switch. Take a look for corrosion on the pins and whether or not you find any, clean both sides of the connector with contact cleaner and apply dielectric grease around the perimeter of the inner connector to seal it.

I agree this could be a poor connection through the main switch and don't discount a bad wire from the main switch through the harness where the wire bends at the steering.
