Unfortunately, a friend's girlfriend backed over my bike. The damage is not extreme but my fairing, bar end, and frame slider are all slightly damaged. She has agreed to fix the bike.

Does anyone have a fairing for an S2 that I could purchase?

Kinda hard to tell but it looks like JUST the "mole" is damaged, not the entire fairing.

Part #8:

Yamaha Motorcycle Parts 2007 FZ6 - FZS6W COWLING 1 Diagram

You do have to remove the inner dash panels to get to the mounting screws, but it's a very easy swap out.

Obviously, once you see what / where the mole is, you'll see if the main fairing (not cheap) is torn up.
It also appears your inner main, black dash (the edge) looks damaged...

Hopefully the main stay is still straight..

I just pitched one with 1/8 of the scratches (2007 blue) you have from a 0 MPH tip over...

Thanks Townsend, I'm in Idaho for vacation but will take a closer look when I get back (happened just before I left). How much do main fairings go for and is there any source to purchase from?

Click on that link above (Partzilla). It has the breakdown of all the parts. For your specific damage, that page should have everything you need with prices.

Their MUCH cheaper than a reg shop, ship (at least to me within 2-3 days if in stock) quickly. NEVER had a problem with them and ordered
a BUNCH of OEM parts(easily $2,000 plus over the years).

Over $149, free shipping too.

When my clutch cable frayed one am (doing reg maintenance), I called them early to order a new one. Reg shipping was 3-4 days for $8.00, Overnight was less than $10.00. I had my new clutch cable INSTALLED the next afternoon.... It'd cost me more in fuel for the SUV then the $2.00 and NO bike...(It's riding season down here now).

Have an 06 one if it'd fit.

Looks like I'm going to be getting one from Partzilla. The person that knocked it over is trying to get me to agree to replacing it with a broken one of ebay, (how is that acceptable).

The inner cover is indeed a bit torn up. My HVMP bar end is also scratched up.

As a side note why are all of my images rotated?

Hard to see but there is also a crack in the fairing here:

You may want to check you main fairing stay that supports the fairing.

Simply put the bike on the center-stand, steering wheel straight ahead. Then look real close for the fairing higher or lower on either side
and also, if the gap between the tank and the fairing is the SAME on both sides.

For me, any tip over, it's a 50/50 shot the stay gets bent....

I'm going to take the fairing off and measure the stay. One side of the fairing appears further separated from the tank than the other.

The person that knocked it over is arguing that because the fairing had a couple blemishes beforehand they don't have to replace the whole thing. I don't think that is fair. Regardless, to fix the damage the fairing needs to be replaced. There is a crack above the mole and the corner is pretty gouged up.

Sorry for the rant, anyone have any experience with this?

You won't be able to get any measurements with the fairing off.

That thing is so awkward (see mine below)..

Now there is a bracket that holds the rear edge of the fairing to the frame. That can get tweaked without bending the main stay.

As all your impact was on one side, and the stay appears ok, remove the left side, black inner dash panel (two exposed allan head bolts).
You can loosen if need be, the brackets frame mount or bend too. It doesn't take much to bend it nor to bend it back. It may have to pulled out slightly.

When you remove the one bolt(one of the two above), you can see if the bracket / fairing are now not aligned. Some patient tweaking usually takes care of that.

As for her complaining now, just offer to go thru her insurance company and have a shop charge $100 an hour labor. Count on $50.00 JUST for an estimate...
She's getting off cheap for not paying attention.

S..t, the bike could have been a kid she ran over without looking...

She has agreed to pay. Just to double check with you all in the know, the correct color is DPBMC, correct?

FYI, the shop I stopped at wanted $120 and three days, just do an inspection...

Doesn't surprise me. I fixed a guys bike for $100 labor (about a 40MPH slide on a cruiser) including inspection.
I just made up a list of parts for him to pick up.. Anyway..

Yes that correct color code if your bike is a blue 2007 model like mine.

Also, the STOCK decals come on the fairing, don't order those.

Your additional Yamaha ticker obviously won't come with it...

Same color as mine correct (2007)?:

Correct, want to trade? So order the fairing without the stickers?
