Yes, to keep those evil spirits from attacking you while you are on your motorcycle. If you're not familiar with them, click on the link below.

Gremlin Bells - Home

I've had mine for three years, so far it's working.

I'll take any advantage I can get over cagers, deer and road hazards!! Seems gimmicky for sure but I will give it a try, why not.

Yes, I have one and yes it must be a gift.

We have a tradition amongst those I ride with that when you know, or are familiar with (such as a co-worker, church menber, riding group, etc) gets a bike, one of us always gifts a bell. That person then tries to return the favor to the next person to get a bike...and so on. While it may or may not fight the "gremlins", (I choose to believe it can't hurt) it helps bring bikers together via this tradition and comman theme.....sorta like waving...

Been riding for 35 years and I think this schtick got started with the cruiser set, to go along with long fringe on jackets, and spiked helmets. Sport bikes don't need a Gremlin Bell.

Gremlin bell? I'll pass.

If I didn't believe in GUARDIAN ANGELS I might try it, but since I do I won't.

To each his own.

Your options have holes in them.

I HAD 1, and rightly so, gave it to a friend ;)

I had another, and gave that away too.

Gonna make me another, got lotsa friends :BLAA:

I even found a BAG of bells ..... bought it right away lol

Whether it's a scam or no, for some, it's just a small way to tell a fellow biker, we love you. We also have this thing that when you clean it, you give a thought for the fallen.

peace

I'm not much of a believer in the fairy folk, spirits, guardian angles or gremlins. But my understanding is that it is given as a gift from someone that wants to keep you safe.

Were it gifted to me, I'd attach it. As a symbol to remind me that someone cared enough to give it.

I'm sure it's the bell and not the fact that you're a rider safety coach and have spent a lot of time practicing safe riding :p

LOL....have you seen me ride?

Look!

Very well said.
