Are you refering to a diode Number 24 on the ECU circuit board or a switching transistor? Have you repaired the defecting ECU?

Ignition Transistor is ok however the Diode number 24, connected to ignition transistor is burnt.
The bike is running now on 4cylinders no CEL
This is a experiment i dont expect this to last long.
Scarcity of parts is what made me do this

Used Wiring diagram to see which is which. Then manually poking multimeter leads to the board to see where it all connected,
What ive learned is, if one diode is burnt some function of the ECU will not work especially the ones that needs negative trigger

Great work! What did you use to get the potting cleared away. Do you have a schematic for the ECU?
Maye you can clean it up,dry it out and repot it!

I replaced my old ignition coils from 2013 fz6r and body harness used but in good condition and she runs good,
Heres the catch
The repaired ECU , Sometimes error 33 shows up but goes away when i turned off and in the ignition switch.
Im still waiting for it to fail.
