Fog / running lights?

Hey folks,

I was interested in installing some fog/running lights on my bike. They will be primarily for extra visibility to other motorists and not so much for more road illumination. Something like small LEDs (golf ball size lenses).

Has anybody done anything like this or have suggestions for me? I was thinking of mounting them down on the front fork somewhere.

A few people have the rear brake lights from this mob. The fronts look the goods too.

To be honest, I think they're a bit too small though and they get lost in the main headlights (especially if you have the twin light set up). I didn't re-post in the above thread, but my replacement unit I got was actually a different shade so I never re-installed them. I'll be trying the Hyperlites when I get round to it.

The lights are "Highway Hawk" 35w plastic lamps mounted to the engine, wiring hidden behind right radiator cover to right lamp then across engine front to left lamp, relay & fuse fitted on top of battery cover, handlebar mounted switch.

Look at what I did on mine. They're a little bulky but if you don't mind the size... 15W per side for 1300 luminens.
