Hello! I just got a Yamaha fz6n 2004 and I wanted to start it after 12 years of not being used. I changed oil, oil filter, new battery, I cleaned the fuel tank, fuel pump. I wanted to start it, everything goes as usual when turning the key, except for the fuel pump which would not prime. The kill switch is in the "on" position. When turning the key to the "on" position or changing the kill switch position, the fuel pump relay (5vk-81950-30) starts clicking at random intervals.. Also, the engine cranks great but it stops cranking and starts cranking again after a little bit (usually after I re-press the button or turn the key again). Many times this interruption happens after the relay clicks. Today I checked with a meter tool the voltage at different points: the current entering the fuel pump relay is good and steady but the one received by the fuel pump is chaotically disappearing and reappearing, synchronized with the relay clicks. I think the relay is broken but I wanted to also ask on the forum to see if anyone has any idea. I’m also new to any forums so I’m sorry if I missed anything. Thanks!
