fz6 shock problem

Hey! i bought a fz6s -05 with 65tkm on the odo. i came with this strange problem and i had to ask. i tried to adjust the rear shock on my bike. the adjustmeny moved just fine, little bit too easily and the pin (bracket) that suppose to lock on the notch doesnt seem to lock but feels like its "off" and doesnt lock on the notch. i went from 1-7 and it didint lock on place,mayby this pic helps to demonstrate

So yours is different then the photo you posted? Is the stop-tab missing from your shock? Can you post a photo of yours?

The adjustment ring is in the up position. In order to lock it into place you need to slide it down over the stop tab.
