Hey guys, brand new tot he forum, long time FZ6 rider. I just started tinkering with my bike and thats just how I learn! Recently I punched out my cat converter to make my bike louder, but its still too quiet for me. I really want to de-baffle the bike after I heard what it sounds like. Can anyone give me some specific step by step procedures or point me in the direction of a link that will give me some help?

I might still do the completely gutted stock exhaust, but in the mean time I've done the drill down the 2 exhaust outlets".

300mm drill bit 22mm diameter. I'd recommend taking it off the bike to do this.

It doesn't really make it louder, just a bit deeper / gurgly. less like a sewing machine.

another option is to gut it and weld in some pipes

but really just buy some cans, they are so much nicer :D

Use short sentences.
Start with the simple ideas and work your way up to the advanced concepts.
Examples, diagrams, photographs and demonstrations will help.

I can give you more specifics if you tell me what your FZ6 is confused about.
