Funny..Yesterday I was with my buddies riding the twisties in the desert and mountains and as we were headed to our meetup spot I saw some of the beautiful blooms in the mountains and missed my wife right away. When I was at the meetup spot I called her for a date today to go hiking in some of our favorite spots. She said yes and played hooky with me and we went hiking. She is also my best friend!!!

Romance is important no matter how long you've been together. Mike and I went on our first date in ....... 1987. Still surprises me with flowers etc.
Last week - emailed me a 'surprise' - tickets to see Tex Perkins play and a New York Photo exhibition at the Gallery of WA. I had mentioned it ages ago and he heard me LOL

Nothing better than going for a ride with my wifeee , just putting along doing our thing & stopping to look at stuff whenever we like :thumbup:
But then of course , there is the fun rides with the boys too or those moments when all of a sudden the wifee disappears in the mirrors

I had a cozy not romantic experience in Thailand a couple of weeks ago.
scooter taxi home from the pub. i didnt think a little scooter could manage me my hubby and the rider OMG!! im surprised it wasnt doing wheelies

I took a reccy today so
kez and I went for a slow cruise into the market this a. m.
followed my usual trek to work via the market as i do on a Friday but an hour or so later
totally different type of traffic, lots of tradies in vans and peds crossing willy nilly
no real incidents and was kinda nice doing the run w Kez on board
changed my regular rat race style of ride to a more 'caring/sharing' I'm not in a hurry ride
we don't have a coms system just me doing a thumb left, pat on the thigh for
'keep aware we are heading right', or, 'I'm gunna floor it to get in front of traffic'
it's nice going out even for a shorty and sharing the experience and kez was ready to go b4 me today so it's gotta be something she enjoys
