Right. my fz6 has problem on idle when reached operating temperature so i started do some work on it.
1. new ignition coils ( was 3.8 ohms)
2. new timing chain (2-3 mm rotor mark was out.)
3. Valve clearance. ( 3 shims from exhaust needed new. 0.36, 0.32 and 0.21 mm) Now all of them are in middle of range.
4. Injectors and throttle body cleaning with carb cleaner from Yamaha dealer.
5. Throttle body sync with Carbtune pro. all are at 21.9-22 on idle.
Was better when i did sync but not completely so i used again Carb cleaner as they said. (put some in intake and wait 10 min). After 10 minutes i tried to start if but it was really struggle. Finally manage to start it up. i sprayed again in intake (as they said) it was bad misfire but only for 2-3 sec and back to normal.) now... Run smooth on idle When warm but its very very rough when cold. like misfiring all the time. sound like its run on 3 pistons.
Any Ideas?

Check for a vacuum leak between the throttle bodies and the head. I use propane to survey for leaks. It’s sad that this has to be said (but people do silly things) but run the propane torch unlit. If you get a ride in rpm during your survey, you have a leak.
