Naked Conversion Wiring

Hoping someone can help. I'm having a problem with the naked conversion wiring.

The issue is that the hazard lights (synchronised strobing turn signals) don't work on the front when the hazard warning button is pressed. They do, however, come on when either turn signal is used. Neither of the turn signals currently work on the front.

It's currently wired up with the left turn signal (brown and black wire) connected to both the brown and black wire from the main harness. There is however another brown wire from the speedo that I believe should be tapped in (which is what I've done by soldering 2 wires into 1). I'm sure this isn't right but can anybody show me how to fix it?

I've searched the forum but struggling to find a tutorial or problem solve on this particular issue.

Here's a pic of the wiring as it stands.

Hopefully you can see I've done a 2 into 1 on the brown wire, which is how I thought it came off the bike. If I don't do this, I'd be left with a spare brown wire.
