Hello all, first post here, im a new fizzer on the block. 
Im doing the R6 fork mod right now and the R6 5SL 2003/4 front spindle that came with the forks is too short !
Its super weird, ive not read about this being an issue with anyone else doing this mod.
there was someone here https://www.600riders.com/threads/r6-fork-spacer-isnt-fitting-please-help.56222/ who had a similar issue but his spindle was too long, theres a picture at the end of the thread with the two different spindles, so from that thread ive figured out that i need the 2005 spindle which is 25.7cm (ish) as opposed to the 23.2cm (ish) spindle.
Since ive not read about this being an issue with anyone im wondering if there is some light to be shone on this.
Besides that its good to have this archived for future modders as this came up as an issue for me today.
EDIT : Soooo .. the 2005 R6 5SLM is the slightly longer spindle i need, its for the 2005 USD forks. Just keeping this updated for future modders and archiving.
