Met 4 other guys this morning for a ride to the Hill Country. Started off in south Austin and made our way to Johnson City via Fitzhugh Rd. From there we made it to Stonewall where we had lunch at Lindig's Cafe. Meandered over to Blanco then back to south Austin. All in all I ticked off just over 210 miles. Had my Contour helmet cam running in picture mode, shooting every 5 seconds. Also brought my DSLR with me for better pics when not riding. The weather was fantastic, got to the mid-80's in the afternoon and just a few cars on the road. Couldn't ask for anything better.

First stop in Johnson City
An older guy shows up on a 1966 BMW 600cc
Motoring along and there's a carcass on the right side of the road (where the dark mark is on the road) along with 4 buzzards. As Peter is riding by two of them take flight, one of them almost hitting him! Came within inches. In this zoomed in pic you can see the darned thing right next to him, can see how big they are
Just a normal road without cars, that's how most of the day was
Our last stop in south Austin before heading our separate ways
And finally my attempt at photographic brilliance (the ASR sticker is the "Austin Sportbike Riders" group on Meetup.com, which we are all members of and set up this ride through)
