:)

Owned it since 2007, spent hundreds of hours making it better, is still my favourite bike in my shed, in the tight stuff! 98.4hp at the rear wheel, and about 165kg's these days, goes ok. :)

You have perhaps the only naked conversion on the forum I prefer over mine! Epic bike.

Question time.
  • What triple clamp is that?
  • What's going on with the subframe fairing bits? FZ1?

Top triple clamp was made in Italy by Gaass Special Parts....is billet aluminium, that's been anodised black...top quality kit. Seat unit is off my ol FZ6 Cup bike, is based on a FZ1 seat unit, but is only a copy, and is made of Fibreglass, and reinforced with carbon fibre, then painted same colour of rest of bike. To use it, you need to do some serious re locating of electrics, that sit under standard side covers. i do have photo's.

This is perfect. I started to relocate everything under the side pods but couldn't figure out what to do with the stuff on the right. The bike looks so much better without the pods

Literally on the box!

That box is mounted there? It looked a whole lot bigger than ^^^..

I like the polished wheels and it does look good where the pod's/electric used to be(especially with the yellow shock.

I bet the bike (^^^) would look even more "mechanical" with either the sprocket cover removed, OR, some large holes drilled in it allowing the ft sprocket to be seen..

That looks great! I'm in the process of making my bike naked myself, and I was gonna hide the electrical that's in the pods under the stock seat, like you did. What's the box/container, and where could I get one? Any idea if it'd fit under the stock seat?

That box is fabricated out of fibreglass, and is the seat support for the fibreglass / carbon fibresingle seat unit. Came as part of the FZ6 Cup bike kit, when i bought the FZ6 Cup racing bike.

Some more detail photo's of the rear end rebuild, those 2 bothers titanium cans have been shortened by 80mm and rebuilt...Everything else, the underseat tray, the rear seat hanger, the fender eliminator, is custom made to fit the build.

First mock up fit of seat unit, you can still see the old undertray box underneath, that the exhaust pipes stick out too far, and the seat does not have a seat pad or paint as yet at this point...that's an FZ1 tail light, which we had to cut the seat unit to fit it into...
