I feel that the Casino here is ripping me off. I work at a Casino and have been for the last 10 years. For the last 4.5 I worked at one of the the biggest Casinos in Europe so I believe I have some experience in the matter. But I feel that the odds on the Blackjack ( I havent played another game a lot) are not really fare. I'm not complaining about the forum(I love it) but the Blackjack !@#$....

Depends on the rules...if you've got the most favorable rules (player's perspective) it supposed to be around 51/49 house to player, right?

Just remember, split those snowmen!

Personally I love the crap tables and do well there. As for the odds of winning at Blackjack. I did some reading and came up with this:

Dealer Final Hand Probabilities with 3 cards or Blackjack:

BJ or 21, 4.8%
20, 17.58%
19, 13.48%
18, 13.81%
17, 14.58%
16, 28.36%

So, if you're playing Blackjack and the dealer is hitting 21 or Blackjack more than roughly 5 out of 100 I would say the game is fixed.

I don't know for sure but I've heard black jack has the best odds for the player when compared to other table games.

What I'm saying is that I believe the odds on the Blackjack here are not very fair. In a Casino, from what I remember, the House odds against a Player are 3,5 % theoretical. Practical they are about 20 % against the Player.

Yep I get screwed by the Casino all the time. To put it into perspective, my percentage winnings are better in poker. I played just for fun and for the chat. I can't tell you what a full house is or a flush or anything really lol.

Odds are that you will lose all your credits.

I agree, i am usually pretty good at Blackjack but i can't seem to win in our casino.

I noticed the same thing. Usually I can tread water on real Black Jack, not here.

Neil, I'll have to invite you over for one of our semi irregular poker nights. Fiver buys you 500 chips. Winner takes all. I've never won yet but then again am usually too pissed to notice by 1am (but not tonight, see previous post. Am on tea and toast now)

Best way to learn is for cheap and hanging out with some friends... a fiver seems like a fair deal, kiss that and maybe ten more (for re-buy ins) goodbye and have a good night and learn how to play.
