I get PMs wanting details about fork stuff, so while I have these things here, I gathered the following. In short, there is nothing from the R6 03-04 (R6S 06-09) standard fork that fits the FZ6.
The caps have a different pitch thread, the springs are 250 mm R6 vs 350 FZ. That's not to say you couldn't run a longer spacer, as I suspect you could. But also keep in mind the springs are about a mm larger on the R6.
The axle bolt is from the other side and is not compatible....
Springs OD/ID:
FZ: 36.7x34.5mm
R6: 38x36 mm
PS - in case you need a spacer both have an OD of 37mm / 1.45"
OEM FZ length: 131.5mm / 5.17"
OEM R6 length: 100mm / 3.94"
FZ Cap flange to thread: 17mm
FZ Cap thread pitch: 1.XX mm oppsee
R6 Cap flange to OEM washer: 43mm
R6 Cap thread pitch: 1.00 mm
FZ Axle: 250mm Full length
FZ Axle OD at hex end: 28mm X 43mm long
FZ Axle bearing area OD: 22mm
FZ Axle Threads; 17.8mm OD, Pitch 1.50 mm, 19mm thread length
Just thought I'd share.. .. ..
So, if you want the adjustable preload caps, buy them for the FZ specific.
