FZ6 Dominator exhaust

Hi. I want to upgrade the stock exhaust system and I decided to buy the Dominator GP. But I don't know what to choose between the medium and hard Db killers. I want it to be a bit louder than stock but not obnoxious. Is the exhaust much louder than stock with the medium Db killers, is it tiring on long rides without ear plugs?

I put the Dominators on last year, the New GP style with the medium killers. I can't compare to the hard killers, but I will say that before the Dominators I was using a drilled out stock muffler. The mediums on my bike are a bit louder than the drilled, but they are not a problem when riding.
