It may have been reassembled improperly. There is a key on the caliper assembly that can be a little tricky to reassemble. You should also have decent pads.

I would think the immobilizer would also not allow the starter operation. Fuel would be my first thought Then spark. A shot of ether would tell you if it's a fuel issue.
A dealership may have the pairing info you need.
I believe the tach signal is derived via the ECU data line to the CPU in the instrument cluster. I've never seen a schematic showing a pick off from and ignition coil on the FZ6. The Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS) signal is the likely source for RPM calculation. If you did use the coil signal...
Those connectors are a specific size and design for H4 and H7 lamps. Funny thing is I once needed a bunch of those and I ended up ordering them from a source in the UK.
The fix that agf posted would probably be your best solution. Just match your bike color code to the position on the new plug...

Green is not the ground. Black is ground. Black with the yellow tracer is the high beam. Green is the low beam.

You should also check the lean angle sensor. I've seen one broken off it's mount and it wasn't in it's vertical position which prevented the bike from starting and running.
