Got another 140 in this afternoon... the weather was just too nice not to ride. Ill be up all night working on Senior Design now, but it is completely worth it.

OK so I have those updated that have posted thus far.
At this point I rolled 8,562 miles for the season, FZ1 got 7,506 between the FZ1 and the FZ6 before it was sold and Wolf got in a 2,835 miles.
At this point dimitre977, Shinn and tum226 are the only ones that havent posted for their season. I will be shooting them a PM in a few moments.
Congrats to you guys who have posted. Looks like you all enjoyed your riding season. I know I did!

Just think, if it hadn't rained for half of May and all but 4 days in June... I'd have almost another 2k on top of that!

I like to ride, lol. I went through a set of tires (7000 miles) in 125 days this summer.

I didn't know this was in the forum.
For the out of record...(no contest, and have no image)
I bought FZ6 this Feb. and Odo was just before the 2000 miles.
Current Odo is 19291 mi.
Most of them are Weekend Touring + 10 miles everyday commuting.
^^; i couldn't even believe it...

I guess since I have been diagnosed with multiple bike syndrome, I can't provide collective miles, only FZ6. I think around a total of 120,000 miles in four years - which is when I started motorcycle riding.

So I'm a day late here but since I'm not going to be challenging anyone for the win it prolly doesn't matter (for the record it would have been the same if I took the photo yesterday)

Brenda, please let me know what your final mileage was on the old bike. I assume you started the new one at 0?

wow, i would have won the seasonal riders, but am still going for the year round guys, although i do not think i will win that.
May i make a suggestion for next year? break it out into belts (climates based on distance from the equator) and keep it a year round contest. that way it isn't dictated when the season starts and ends, just however many miles the rider rides in a calendar year.

Did the calcs - and you can check on the prior posts...
May 1 - 3485 to June 25 - 4562 on the 07
June 25 - 36 to Oct 31 - 3308 on the 09
Total of 4349

looking forward to doing this in 2010. i'd be doing the year round but i don't think i'll come close to the guys who have great weather year round. but i probably ride about 10 months out of the year. so we'll see.
