Could the tragedy have happened, by chance, on the wide Moscow ring boulevard that circles the city? Just wondering. I was shocked at how incredibly fast I saw some going on that urban multi-lane expressway---I mean probably over 200kph. Sorry to hear that you (and his family) lost him.

It happened about 70 miles far away from Moscow.

The ring you mentioned, definitely, is a crazy place. I don't like to ride or even drive there, especially at night. Its nick name is "The death road". Some go there just to check maximum speed of their vehicles. It's crazy, really.
