I sold my 2006 with 107,000 miles a a few years back to a guy on a local forum who planned to do a naked conversion. I need to follow up on it.

Hey @VEGASRIDER - Kenny! Dude I was thinking about you specifically the other day. I was working to flush and change my brake fluid, with my wife helping me on the "squeeze and hold the lever" duties while I bled the lines.

I thought of you because unlike you Kenny (and probably a lot of you) I hardly ride my bike. A 2007 model I bought brand-new in 2008, I am barely up to like 25,000 miles today after 13 years of ownership! Anyway I thought of some group rides where you came over to SoCal for, and the tales of how many miles you got out of your clutch!

Just tripped 82k. It is a testament to Yamaha how little I know about maintenance and how few problems I have had. (Read as self-inflicted electrical) Really shooting for 100k before 2028. (Original owner bought new and 20th anniversary with her)
