august 23rd I'm planning on riding big bear again. I'm sure poorwboy is already going, I think nimzotech wanted to go. I might be bringing a buddy from work, he just got a Buell Blast and he was interested. were going to run up the 74 tomorrow after work and will go from there.

I will most like go. Ill let you know, I just started a new job, im pretty sure i dont have to work saturdays, my boss rides, so he probably wont care.
You have another google route mapped out? I may consider meeting you at Big Bear.

If I decide to come, would you guys consider doing a minor reroute at Baldwin Lake? Rather than taking the South Shore road, go around the lake and take the North Shore, then I would be able to meet you at the junction of highway 18 and whatever that road that goes around the lake. Looks like it's going to add a few more mile for you guys, but it will give me a few more miles to ride with y'all.
I will also see if I can get any other FZ6 members around here to come, but don't hold your breath.

That's no good, as that would be the end of the ride
. There is that small town called Doble on the NE side of Lake Baldwin where Route 18 and the road that goes around the lake intersects. Seems like it would be the half way point of the ride for you guys. That's where I was thinking of a meeting spot.

So if you made a minor reroute and go around Balwin Lake and we meet at Doble Ca, that would give me about 65 miles to ride with you guy going to Cajon Junction, where the ride ends. Your group ride is only 113 miles under the current routing to begin with. How bout extending the route to go up and around Lake Arrowhead to add a few more miles? Our last group ride was over 200 miles.

Here's what I propose, I meet you guys at Doble Ca ( marker C ) with lunch at Big Bear. For some reason, I'm still only coming up with 65 miles of riding time with you guys. But I wouldn't mind taking a lap around Big Bear Lake before lunch break, as I along with probably a lot of members have never been up there. It will be about a 550 mile ride this time around for me from Vegas. Not no 793 miler like last time.
