Trail tech HID headlight mod

Hello all just wanted to share my Trailtech headlight mod. Started with making bracket templates out of acrylic. Had a piece machined where I could attach the bracket and the light together. Let me know if there is something I have overlooked. I will be making the brackets out of aluminum. I also modded the wiering to the speedo. I will show that in another post once I figure out how to strap it down.

Wow. It looks like a bicycle light! How's the output? Is the beam wide enough to see the sides of the road?

The lights output is 1850lm the the beam angle is 36 degrees. The down part is that it's just a wide beam.i might add a secondary light to act as a high beam. Have yet to test her out on the road.

The light has a built in ballast system so I only had to connect 2 wires.
