Funny how "italian side" automatically linked to a baroque style chair on ebay. There are 25+ campsites in the area south of Split but for the map you can add the village of Podgora.Do you have any addresses so I can add them to the map , or maybe other places you stayed at during your "Eurotour" :thumbup:
Rome: at first I tried to find a site at the coast but it turned out to be an endless line of parked cars and beach clubs. Maybe there are some campsites in the city but I recommend going 40 km north of the city to Lago di Bracciano. It's a volcanic lake and at the south side there are 3-4 campsites.
Florens: 30km north of the city at SP65 and Passo della Futa are one or two campsites located at some altitude, for when to escape the heat..
