This was passed to me on Facebook, couldn't find it on EweTube so you won't be able to see it if you're not a facebooker, sorry.
Its the live debut of Purple Rain, with a longer intro, more guitar solo, and an extra verse/chorus that were edited out on the album. A must-see if you're a Prince fan!

Mind.
Blown.

Okay, this isn't a "song", but I damn near had a religious experience tonight, listening to this.
I knew this album like the back of my hand. Or so I thought.
Damn. I was really looking forward to hearing Bohemian Rhapsody in 5.1 Surround, but all the tracks revealed so much detail I've never heard before, especially The Prophet's Song, those beautiful echo'd harmonies and the delicate acoustics at the end.... Damn!

If you have a Bluray player and a Surround Sound system, forget about the $30 price, you NEED to have this!

Each time I see that case ^^^^^ I see 8 Track!!! :rof::rof::rof:

At least the "Blue Ray" logo helps offset the inspired 8 Track size and shape!

Old, but I like it! Audio....

Just saw Jack White with Neil Young on the Tonight show. Jack and friends rebuilt an old portable recording booth and Neil recorded an old song on an actual, "Made right there" vinyl record, live on stage. I used to play one of those old Montgomery Ward Airline guitars he uses. I guess he really likes older retro stuff.

Here's some people that have that retro feel in there music and they are basically guitar and drums. Since I've seen them live I think they've added a bass player but all the bass used to be either midi or octaver off the guitar...

Not sure exactly what one means by "Rock". I think it is different things to different peeps. Here is my favorite old tune and my most listened to 'new' tune. The new tune isn't new really, it is a sorta new cover.

"...attracts me like a cauliflower..."

This is only for die-hard Beatles fans, or songwriting folks: George and the Beatles, forming the song "Something" in the studio, with the tapes rolling.
Gold. This is Gold!

This goes a little beyond just die hard fans. Amazing to hear them writing this in the raw!
Thank you Botch!

Flying Colors. This is another mish-mash of prog rockers (the usual morphing of this genre). Portnoy is from Dream Theater, Steve Morse from Dixie Dregs/Dregs and Kansas, I'm not familiar with the others.
I have FC's first album, it's good but I wasn't going to follow them any more; this tune has a FANTASTIC chord progression and I'm gonna have to pick up their sophomore disk, awesome!
