I take back that earlier comment, we have a stereotype winner! I am a BIKER, I never drink and ride, I ride a Yamaha (WTF is the accepted brand?), I ride safely and wear top brand safety gear or does that make me a poser? BTW all bikers are motorcyclists by definition.

Stereotype much? I ride with an MC, no choppers, all sport or touring bikes, some of us carrying a couple of extra pounds but does that make us lesser riders? I think not.

That looks just like my old one but I had no black, although there was definitely a darker blue. You say yours is a 2006 but here the 2006 had black frame, engine and wheels, mine was a 2004.

Have you measured to check if the voltage changes from 12V to 0V on the high beam line when you toggle the bar switch?

yeah there is a clutch lever but the end knob is missing. You can see it on the pic showing the left side.

It's not going to be easy to ride with the right foot peg missing...
