I ended up ordering this jacket from Revzilla and rode with it the first time this morning. It's a great jacket! The air flow is good.

I probably got a great deal. I but bought a 2008 FZ6 with 400 miles on it about this time last year for $4700. I live in mid Michigan.

What's the "best" 3 season motorcycle jacket out there? I like leather but would look at a good textile jacket also.

I'd like to invest in a 3 season motorcycle jacket. Textile is fine, but if there's a reasonable leather out their, I'd look at it. Any recommendations? The Speed and Strength line seems nice.

Yes. It can easily hold a something the size of a helmet but would take up much of the room in the bag. Probably about the same amount of space for a spare pair of shoes and days change of clothes.

I don't know if it was good for the bike, but it sure was good for me! I noticed the roads were dry so I got it plenty hot and went around the block a couple of times. It was a 2 mile ride in 1st and 2nd gears up to 40 mph in 34 degree weather.
