    04 FZ6 No Crank

You need to a continuity test to identify failed wires. Looking at the ends of the connector doesn’t tell you what’s happening between them.

    04 FZ6 No Crank

Corroded connectors is the first thing to check. Blown fuses means there IS a problem that needs to be investigated.

New way to start a fz6

Check your work. You may have the hot wire unswitched to the ECU (blue/black & white/blue) or it's just the wrong switch. .

Need Help 04-06 Starter not spinning when mounted.

Another check… Put the bike into the center stand and then place it into 6th gear. With some moderate force you should be able to rotate the wheel. If the wheel won’t move, you may have a stuck engine. Has this bike been outside all winter?

    No codes No start

Spray some starting fluid into the airbox while cranking. If it fires it is a fueling issue. Most likely the fuel pump or a clogged screen.

Tail light on but hand and foot brake does not turn on brake light

Not a lot. Disconnect the connector at the brake switch. Attach your tester to the two prongs, apply the brake and listen for the magic continuity beep. No beep…then you have found the problem. If it beeps, you’ll have to start digging further.

Tail light on but hand and foot brake does not turn on brake light

I have replaced a number of brake light switches over the years (never on an FZ) so they do fail. It is possible that they both have failed. A continuity tester is your friend here.

Need Help Intermittent Stalling at Idle, Code 12

I'm sure I understand what you mean by "By using code 30 I was able to have it reliably produce a spark" Fault Code 30 is the lean angle cutoff switch. This would produce the exact issue you are experiencing. You didn't mention that the bike had fallen over...has it? It is possible that the...

Question Whining noise after changing chain and sprockets - normal?

Once the chain is done "shaping" the rubber isolator, it should run nice and quiet.
