I road about 830 km last Sun. on mostly twisty roads, with the addition of cycling shorts under my pants. That was on my stock seat and my ass felt great! It could have kept on riding, while the rest of me was cooked! Way cheaper than a new seat, and you need them for your mountain bike anyway...
