Need Help Fuel and spark but no start.

I'm not sure what pressure mine was at during the issue but it couldn't maintain pressure anyways. I had no way of testing at home, they did it while it was in the shop. That's how they found the issue

Mate it's running like a dream again. The ultrasonic clean broke the regulator free. Otherwise you could just replace it. Something so simple after trying to diagnose for so long. It was done in the shop and all they charged was a couple hours of labour, nothing new required in my case.

It's not the mushroom on the rail its part of the sender unit. Another easy to tell is that if the fuel line is disconnected it will have constant fuel flow due to being stuck open not just a dribble like standard. Regulator circled in pic

Sent it into the shop because I was limited with what else I could do. Ran perfectly fine on starting fluid. Turns out the diaphragm in the fuel pressure regulator was stuck open so couldn't maintain fuel pressure. Was removed and put in an ultrasonic cleaner a bunch of times. Afterwards...

Need Help Fuel and spark but no start.

Tested both of them with no issue found. Tried running on starting fluid and it ran fine. Found that the diaphragm in the fuel pressure regulator was stuck open, so it couldn't maintain fuel pressure besides a kick every now any then after a bunch of priming. part is in the ultrasonic cleaner...

Is the fuel pressure regulator in tank in these? Fuel rail isn't compromised.

Definitely not saying that isn't the case but would it really cause it to instantly stall just by using any of the other controls. Instead of just misfiring or bogging down?

The tank was rooted. Rust galore from sitting around for the 3 years before I got it. The pump worked fine beforehand but I did a refurb and rust treatment on the tank so did a pump kit while I was in there. Next step can be pulling off the rail and cleaning it out in case anything made it's...

It's an after market unit from a reputable shop not Chinese junk. It has plenty of flow from the tank to the rail, beyond that I can't test currently or see. I had pulsed and cleaned the injectors while they were out so they were working. Unless there is in issue in the rail...?

I don't have the equipment needed but I can get it, I wouldn't have thought that would have been an issue with the brand new fuel pump that is only 200 kms old and it rode great until this issue

    Starting issue

It will only idle in neutral for 20-30 seconds before stalling out, as soon as you touch the clutch or try and start it and gear it doesn't run. Definitely not rideable. And touching the throttle stalls it aswell

    Starting issue

There wasn't an issue before. It won't idle in gear with the clutch in for more than a couple seconds same as in neutral putting it into gear it stalls straight away. It will only do the 20 to 30 second idle if it's in neutral and untouched

Latest update: it has sat for a month, didn't have any spare time for it. Battery is supposed to have 260 cranking amps. It had 135. Replaced battery. Still nothing. It surely can't be ignition or fuel because it's running now for about 20secs at a time As soon as you touch the throttle though...
