What's the deal with the temperature gauge?

Bingo! You have just identified about 85% of all motorists (but don't quote me on the number as it has clearly no scientific data to support it). Vehicle manufacturers have moved away from informative instrumentation as most people just don't want to be bothered. I had VW Scirocco awhile back...

    FZ6 Mulholland Crash

Cliff you might be on to something. We only see the footage of the rider going through the corner and not what the rider was focused on. Hypothetically speaking, if I was riding through that corner and spotted a photographer that resembled FI's avatar, I could see myself being that guy. :spank:

First pretty day to ride and i get these guys.

You are absolutely correct with the waited part, or perhaps drive on an alternate road (to your destination) if possible. It is easy to spot those types of drivers and every state has them believe me. I can find myself becoming aggravated at times but it usually when I'm in my cage. On a...

Serious Q about the family jewels.

Well, I don't think that I have ever read a series of posts in which everyone offered their own take on the twig and berries, now let me see if I have covered them all: your manhood my bits my giblets the beanbag Can we talk about bounce (wait a minute- that one doesn't count!) coconuts...

    New ideas about bike safety

The Article is spot on and I have been driving / riding that way for years. Nearly every accident is preventable if these thought processes are incorporated into our time behind the wheel / handlebars. When approaching a situation on the road one must quickly analyze what everyone is doing and...

    A new chapter in life!

I had purchased a less expensive cover for a few years that finally dry rotted this year. So I do understand, however I bought a factory Yamaha cover from Amazon for about $100 and its great because fits perfect and keeps the bike dry. There is something to be said about uncovering a bike...

    A new chapter in life!

I feel a little sorry for the BBQ now that it's lost its cover and having to stay out in the elements and all. Blah If you haven't, you also may want to yank the battery and put it on a tender so in 5 months it will be ready when are. And BTW thanks for your service.
