Try putting a screwdriver / pry bar at the engine sprocket. See if you can get any up / down/ side to side play. From the chain tightening boo boo, it's likely that bearing is toast. .

Re-check / clean the battery cables to the battery. Sounds like a bad / loose connection at the battery. .

When I posted about the Quantum pump, that was a result of several members here using it and it working fine. I personally have not used one. I'd suspect the injectors would easily handle it, but wait and see what Quantum says.. .

That engine should light off hot or cold with 1 (to maybe 2) seconds when running correctly TOPs... Cold start idle is a knats hair higher and you should be able to hear the "richness" the first15-20 seconds (for my bike in WARM SW Florida) . I'd strongly suspect the fueling system, with the...
