They do look awesome. You can quiet them down by wrapping the baffle inserts with stainless steel wool and wrapping that with stainless wire, like safety wire. I’ve done it before and it works well.

That separator is part of the tail light assembly and should be secured to the tail light assembly with bolts.

The XJ6 Diversion is a different bike than the FZ6.

I think time spent with the wiring schematic, and understanding the continuity of the outputs of your ignition switch, will enable to see if the switch is compatible with the harness.

Honestly, with a non-matching aftermarket ignition switch...who knows what's going on. It's all just guessing at this point.

Did this bike have a wreck at some point? I have never heard of a stator that suddenly interfered with the rotor. I have seen aftermarket stators that didn’t fit properly…but they don’t change shape. Has this stator delaminated?
