    Merry Christmas

Hey I know we come from all walks of life, many faiths and some with none! But that does not mean we can't wish each other safety and peace in the time of any one faith. So from a serious non religious POV, have an awesome time with friends and family. Stay safe on the roads if you are...

Need Help Fork Lock and Ignition Busted by Thief

I'm really sorry to see and hear of the attempted theft. They must have been realy keen to take it doing so much damage to the triple clamp. Hope you can source parts quickly and insurance covers the costs. I second the idea of a heat gun on the seat base, just take your time, that plastic will...

How long have you owned your FZ6? And what would be your next bike (or dream next bike)?

Like Ohendo, I recently sold on my FZ but I moved to an XSR900. Primarily as I love the look of the bike, the ergonomics are close (but for me, way better than the FZ ) so my knees are really grateful. Cruise control I can live without but the other safety doodahs like ABS and traction control...

Need Help What is this rubber seal called and where can I buy one?

https://www.ronayers.com/oemparts/c/yamaha_motorcycle/parts this is a great place to find parts, all the fiche contain every component and are labelled with corresponding part numbers. Alas the tank cap comes as an assembly not as individual bits. you might just have to go to a plumbers...

    Where is the Naked Wasp?

Thanks guys, it sure was a sharp machine, I do have to say tho that the ergs on the XSR as standard are a better fit for me. I also have to admit that the down low responsiveness is really nice. I used to think that the FZ was awesome getting to 75 km over an intersection. Yesterday I did a...

    Where is the Naked Wasp?

Hey folks, I was at Yamaha Melbourne yesterday getting the first service done on my XSR900. The service manager told me that they had no problem selling my FZ6 that I traded. I asked if it was still in Melbourne but he said it had gone to Sydney as far as he knew. So if any members happen to...
