Looks like an awesome trip. You are both troopers for riding that long two up on this bike! I have made quite a few modifications to mine for long trip comfort, and I still wouldn't wanna ride that long with a pillion!

I use copilot premium for navigation on my phone. It allows unlimited waypoints so you can really customize a route.

You can get pj1 in a smaller 8oz can and that should last you the trip. Just lube after a long day of riding and you'll be fine. I've never had a problem with that stuff on trips.

So you disconnected the ignition, which triggered code 19, correct? But did the motor crank and crank without starting like it does without the ignition disconnected? Just to be clear, you disconnected the blue wires and got code 19, right?

I changed my clutch cable last year at about 28,000 miles. It had been fraying at the lever where the cable is exposed when the clutch is pulled in. Seems to be the most common spot for any clutch cable to fray. Its definitely smoother and easier to pull now though. As for throttle cable...
