The forks should be stainless steel...odds are that clamp right there (looks like cast iron) is rusting...which still sucks because I would imagine that it shouldn't make contact there (it should have a seal for that). I'm no bike mechanic but there should be fluid in the forks so keep an eye...

I dont think there's a longer sportsbike than mine and i fit mine in a tacoma bed (6' I think) fine (tailgate down). I'm sure you can get yours with the tailgate up no problem. any truck should be fine...i dont think any have a shorter bed than 6'. lil tip...if you buy ramps, get long...

the fz6 should use motorcycle specific motorcycle oil that has properties for the clutch. i never did because it wasn't significant and i changed my oil before it ever broke down...but thats probably why. if you're using regular motor oil, which is a lubricant with no significant additives...

actually if you bothered to read it you'd see its talking about air fuel ratios and not for or against the mod. The question is damage from a/f ratio, its effect in the combustion cycles, not how badly it gets peoples panties in a bunch because they don't like their OPINIONS challenged with...

Doesn't the fz6 manual say to lube the chain with motor oil? I'd soak it in that, if anything. WD40 is a solvent...its the opposite of a lubricant.

keep in mind that most people who criticize this mod never want to do it, let alone have done it. most people who have, like it. the throttle response was significant on my bike but i never understood why it had that noticable an effect.
