This handlebar clamp is correct for 2007-2009 FZ6 but will fit all years. It is a nice sturdy upgrade from the minimalist clamps used on 2004-2006's $45 shipped to 48 states

The FJ-09 is plenty fun to ride. Put about 120 miles on her so far. The power band seems very deep and pulls hard in all gears. Taking it a little easy for a little while longer during break in.

I've personally never had an issue with sliding forward using this seat. I will say I have a bigger frame clocking in at 5'10" 240ish lbs. I have found it very comfortable and it had enabled me to do long distance touring.
