I'm averaging just under 50 mpg. I do a LOT of highway commuting though. If you have sprockets that are not stock-sized, you'll have to do some math to get your actual mileage.

Yup. I use regular also. I experimented with premium, non-ethanol and got around 2 more mpgs. Not worth the extra cost. She runs just fine with regular 87, with ethanol.

Do you mean using that as a headlight? I don't think anyone has as I doubt it's well suited for headlight use.

When I bought mine, I had to have the tailgate down, but with 4 straps (2 on the front and 2 on the back) going to the 4 corners of the truck box, it was rock solid for it's 3 hour ride home.

^^What he said. Saved me a bunch of typing :) I just replaced my caliper seals this past weekend and the pads don't drag as much. Definitely worth doing.
