Brake fluid leaking, now no brakes.....

tldr... JK you probably just knocked it a tad loose when you had the caliper out...just gently snug up the banjo bolt, and try bleeding them. if that doesnt work then pull the bolt out and replace the copper washers on EACH side of the brake line and torque the bolt properly. bleed and you...

    fz6 engine to r6

I went +1 and I can still powerwheelie in 1st, jump up a few inches when grabbing 2nd and get head shake when grabbing 3rd....sooo it does put a damper on initial jump, but to say that you lost 10hp is just as much nonsense as saying that it cant wheelie at all.

Ashamed, can't get stripped oil filter off

I would have just used the cup socket to begin with, but thats hindsight... take the front sprocket cover off, like mentioned, and get something that will eat away and soften the rubber or attack it with a heat source.

    Increasing FZ6 Top Speed

you wont do it on a FZ...aerodynamics come into play on top of horsepower. my R1 ran out of gears at 189, now with a sprocket change im sure it could do 200+ easily, but you also have to have a good set of race tires, and a good chain guard, a well setup suspension...

    Increasing FZ6 Top Speed

of course it can do well over 120.... I know of an anonymous individual who sat at over 120 for 10+ miles the other night... and with the 17t it runs out of power at 153... the R1 however, does not run out of power lol this thread is officially ALIVE again.

    Ignition lock question

in general yes, with the exception being if you order the ignition switch from Yamaha with the original key code, that way they should all match (seat, tank, ignition) with no problem.

Any tricks for an easy removal of the center stand

it will definitely come off with the side stand still bolted up,,, I havent done it in quite a while, but I know I didnt have to take the side stand off. iirc I used a ratcheting wrench and a box wrench to take the center stand off, I think I left the bracket there ( I was planning on putting...
