for me - IIRC, the biggest change for me wasn't the brake pads but instead, installing braided/stainless steel brake lines. I put CRG adjustable levers too, so the initial bite takes very little pull. Beyond that, if you want _more_ you'd need to look into a brake caliper upgrade, IMO.

(this assumes that 1) you have been following the US news and 2) you are familiar with 1990s movies...)

I would guess more of a crack/leak then full blockage, but _only_ based on that fact that the needle was twitching _some_ and not completely still. So it wasn't "nothing" but certainly not anything that registered anything meaningful. Tight working spaces and cold garage but will see what else...

Buddy you might get more comments on _how_ it got that way, once ppl see it off the bike and not being used. Be safe and get it replaced asap, maybe circle back 'round after.

I'm sorry to hear that has been your experience. That has not been the case for me - I've had LED bulbs in since Feb 2016 with no stator issues whatsoever.

I would _also_ have more room in my garage (for bikes) if I didn't keep trying to store cars in there....

Soooooooooo.... funny you bring this up. I discovered a few years back that my '87 FZR1000 has the same situation (but a much better weld, I'm pleased to say). To-date I have ignored it, since the front sprocket was still in decent enough shape that I didn't have to address it immediately, but...

I have an '05. All things being equal (e.g. comparing bikes of similar mileage/shape), I'd pick the '07.... nicer instrument cluster, some add'l options on windscreens, nicer swingarm, etc. But _nothing_ wrong with '05/'06, and I have no reason to change from what I have.
