Rizoma Grips - Watta ya think???

I ordered mine mainly for the looks and figured I could live with the discomfort and it turns out they are much better than stock. Went to the local cycle gear and bought a few different grips.... ending up costing like $40 for 3 different sets.... should have bought the rizoma grips to begin...

    Joining the Naked Club

The second post by victorb has very good information. I used his and Tom's build threads for my installation. http://www.600riders.com/forum/fz6-streetfighter/20329-conversion-thread-fz6s-fz6n.html

I don't know about the other guys but I did this mod with no intentions of turning back. I couldn't if I wanted to since I shortened all the wiring. If your wiring were in tack, I'm guessing it should only take a few hours to put back to stock but I think most of us sold our stock parts to buy...

    FZ1N Bi-xenon retrofit

So I converted my bike to naked and purchased a FZ1N headlight. Ordered the H4 projector like Godzilla and Boneman for a quick and easy install. I'm no stranger to modifying headlights so installation was very straight forward. After a week with the projector, I decided I wasn't...

Hey, there's nothing wrong with cable ties. I didn't like those clamps either but they look ok after painted black. Besides looking better, I think it rides better too. Believe it nor not but the wind buffeting on my helmet is gone. My head is not pushed around anymore since wind is hitting...

Finally finished, the conversion was not hard, it just took time to gather all the pieces. I still have a little throttle binding at full left lock but I'll work it out eventually. And there is a check engine light now... thought it was the speedo healer but I disconnect it and the check...

So what is the secret Tom? Beside trimming the mounting bracket, modifying the fork clamps, and fabricating the bottom bracket (which I've already done with an 1/8" aluminium barfrom home depot). Did you guys cut your harness to fit or keep it stock. I'm planning to cut my to length to make...

I always avoided going to the street fighter sub forum because I knew they looked better and didn't want to spend money to convert. After viewing all the FZ6N pictures, I've finally given in and started the conversion process. Here are the parts I've order if anyone is interested. - FZ1N...

pictures of the parts off the bike: The cowl has a little piece trimmed out where it meets the turn signal. My modified signals sat against the cowl and I had to trim a circular shape off so it would sit flush. The bottom front of the cowl has a few holes that I drilled to mount my hid...
